Wool Dying Workshop

What is different when dying fibre? How do dyes behave when applied during various stages of the textile manufacturing process?

Learn the difference between wool fibre, yarn, cloth, exotic protein fibres, and the basics of fibre dying. Students will use acid dye solutions to create custom colours on wool fibre. The workshop will include a discussion on how dyes work, and best studio practices. 

Dyes, pots, tools, and modifiers will be provided.
Students will receive wool fibre, and dye of their choice to dye during the course. Students are welcome to bring their own wool.

This course runs March 24th, from 6:30-9:30PM
